Save the date for our 4th Annual RIB-COOKOFF COMPETITION on JULY 10, 2021 at the Thomas E. Hartung American Legion Post 1977 located at 14414 Ford Drive in New Lenox. Show how good your ribs really are and let someone else be the judge! $80.00 entry fee per team which includes 3 Slabs of Ribs per team, extra slabs available at $10 each. All proceeds will benefit the Manteno Veterans Home and other local Veterans causes that are in need. Competitors compete for trophies and cash prizes! Sign up due by July 1st .Cash Bar opens at 11 am. Some of the fun: Food, Horseshoes, Bean Bags, 50/50’s, Basket Drawings and at 1 pm a Magic Show performed by Ian the Magician so bring out your family and kids. What's more you ask?
Arrowhead Ales will be serving Their house smoked brisket/ pulled pork sandwiches, and ribs from 11-4 (for purchase).
THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. FREE ADMISSION!!
Competition starts at 9 am and raffle winners announced around 5 pm
