There goes the neighborhood! We are just 4 weeks away from our 4th Annual Mark Twain Days Neighborhood !!
**UPDATES & GREAT NEWS!**
🎥🍿Movie night on Friday night is a go! Thanks to Drew Irwin for stepping up to help out and Sunset Church of Christ for helping us get a 24ft inflatable screen!!
🍔 We have lined up free hot dogs AND hamburgers for Saturday! Thanks to Kay Hawk and Redeemer Lutheran Church for sponsoring the toppings bar and Robert Thomas for the hamburger and grilling.
🍧🍿🌭 Free hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, water and snow cones provided by South Haven Baptist Church
🍦Free Culver's ice cream for all neighbors!
🍳 Free Hardee's breakfast for Saturday volunteers!
💦🔫 The bounce house, nerf war, and foam pit will also be returning! Thank you, Nat Cox!
🚔🚒 Police and Fire department vehicles
🎨🖌️😃 Face painting and live art by Laura Dell Anson and Greg Bradley!
🎶🎤🎵 Live DJ by Dominic Turner Moon City Events
🎲 Yard games, axe throwing, corn hole, plus giant Jenga and Sorry
🚙🚘 Thanks to our awesome secretary, Connie Westerman, we will be hosting our first ever car show in the parking lot at Twain Elementary - SPS
We will also have amenities like bathrooms, a first aid/cool down station, and a baby changing station.
THINGS TO BRING WITH YOU:
Sunscreen
Towels for after water games
Cash for shopping (there will be craft and art booths)
Goggles for nerf course and foam pit
Lawn or camping chairs
Canopies for shade are welcome
WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR:
>Passing out flyers (I just printed more for those who haven’t got any yet)
> Manning the kickball area
>Setup and manning the nerf area
> More vendors!! (Ask your friends who do craft fairs and farmers markets!)
>Set up/ breakdown of games, tables, etc on Saturday morning (Hardee's breakfast provided!)
>Friday night movie night and karaoke contest/glow dance (karaoke and glow dance will be scrapped if we don’t have any volunteers)
Please speak up if you have a couple of hours to spare on Sept 12 & 13th!
