Fore! Join us on Friday, December 10, 2021, at beautiful Fiddlesticks Golf & Country Club in Fort Myers for a friendly golfing competition to support the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Program of SWFL. One of Florida’s premier private golf courses, Fiddlesticks offers an outstanding experience. You will enjoy great golf, good food, socializing, and an all-around fun day. An added benefit at no additional charge: each foursome will enjoy the expertise of a PGA/LPGA teaching professional that will offer tips to improve your game!Activities
Arrive at 7:00 a.m. for registration and breakfast. Then, let the golfing begin! Lunch and a celebration of the winners will follow the tournament’s completion with departure by mid-afternoon.
The Need in SWFL is Real
Lack of dental visits can contribute to a variety of health issues including oral diseases, pain, infection, and tooth loss. The need in SWFL is real. For example, in 2018, out of all the children treated on the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile in Lee County, 85% lived at or below the established Federal Poverty Level. Additionally, 31% of the children were uninsured, 65% were insured by Medicaid, and only 5% were covered by private insurance. The solution? Our two mobile offices provide thousands of children in Lee, Hendry, and Collier counties with regular dental care. Philanthropic support and our clinical partnerships allow us to offer dental services free-of-charge. Without the leadership of RMHC SWFL and our provider partners, many children simply would not have access to quality dental care.
