4th Annual Glass Gala!

"It all started over a bottle of wine..."

You know the story--now come celebrate it!

You're invited to attend the 4th annual Glass Gala hosted by Glass Half Full and Glassroots at the historic Latrobe's on Friday, October 24.

Proceeds benefit: Glassroots 501(c)(3), the partner non-profit of Glass Half Full.

Glassroots reimagines glass waste as a community & environmental asset in Greater New Orleans & Southeast Louisiana. We provide free glass recycling services, promote environmental education and stewardship among all ages, and work alongside partners to implement regional coastal restoration and stormwater management projects using recycled glass sand and gravel.

Proceeds from the 4th annual Glass Gala will support increased staffing and programming capacity in 2025-26. This includes hiring 1 additional staff member in Fall 2025, upgrading capacity at free drop-offs, and funding community projects--rain gardens, French drains, sandbag distributions--in underserved neighborhoods (Central City, 7th Ward, Lower 9th Ward, and NOLA East).

Tickets include: General Admission attendees will enjoy a DJ & live performances, open bar, Louisiana delicacies, "Best Dressed" contest, silent auction & prizes, biodegradable glitter, recycled glass art for sale, and more!

Patron Party attendees will enjoy all of the above plus early entry and performance from 6-7pm, champagne skirt, and gift bags with exclusive merch.
