About this Event
American Gothic is a subgenre of gothic fiction. Elements specific to American Gothic include: rationality versus the irrational, puritanism, guilt, the uncanny (das unheimliche), ab-humans, ghosts, and monsters.
The 4th Annual Edgar Allan Poe Ball celebrates all the above. Edgar Allan Poe was born January 19, 1809. Join us on Saturday January 20. 2024 as we celebrate the works of the most famous American Gothic writers.
DJ Neph and Elysium are your hosts for the night - together they will help you traverse the world of Poe which is filled with M**der, revenge, torture, the plague, being buried alive, insanity, etc.
