About this Event
Celebrate Diwali with us on Sunday, October 27th from 3-7PM. Join us for our 4rd annual celebration, where we’ll embrace inclusivity and diversity through the festival of lights! Enjoy a Revolutionary Storytime, explore rotating art stations led by local community organizations, savor Indian delicacies, shop at an Indian-owned vendor market, and listen to lively music. The event will culminate with the enchanting lighting of the Wishing Tree. We can't wait to celebrate with you in true festive spirit!
Diwali is a time of joy, reflection, and the coming together of families and communities. It's a festival that transcends religious boundaries and spreads the message of peace, prosperity, and the triumph of good in the world.
All ethnicities and nationalities are welcome to share in the power of human connection and community through inclusive experiences. Learn the history and meaning of this beautiful festival, and how it is celebrated in India and around the world.
