Here we are again, folks. The end of another long, hard year. We’re getting ready - as I’m sure you are as well - to hunker down for the winter and ready ourselves for another cold few months before reemerging fully refreshed and recharged in the spring air. But how are we to survive these dark, cold nights ahead?By watching two of the zaniest creature-features of the 1990s with you on the big Saturn screen, of course!!! In the spirit of friendship and generosity, we’ve curated a double-bill of no small measure for this Christmas season, filled with monsters, goo, and Christmas cheer.
First, delight yourself with the middle entry in the Feeders trilogy - Feeders 2: Slay Bells! In the spirit of Yuletide schlock perennial Santa Clause Conquers The Martians and rural alien siege classic Critters comes a shot-on-video rager about Saint Nick taking lasers to space invaders. A fun time *will* be had by all! Next, an early 90s marvel of low-budget filmmaking, Winterbeast is a long-gestating passion project mish-mash monster movie bolstered by some amazing special effects and featuring several props from Dokken’s video for “Burning Like A Flame”. It’s a movie whose plot is both is simple and utterly indescribable, and you won’t want to miss seeing it with your nearest acid dropout!
We’ve got another silly show lined up for y’all with all the gags, goofs, and good cheer that you’d expect from a Terror trip; and we’ll have the pizza, snacks, candy, and eggnog you need to get you to the end of the year. Come see us this December for something truly magical and bizarre!
