You can sign up as a team, a pair, or an individual. Initially, 13 Spots will be reserved for full teams, 10 Spots will be reserved for 20 pairs, and 2 Spots will be reserved for 8 Individuals. This may be adjusted based on interest. There is a cap of 100 people across all grouping types.
If you choose to be on a pair or individual signup, you will be randomly selected and combined to make a team. These teams will then be adjusted to ensure fairness (i.e. we don't want an all-girls team against an all-boys team).
🚨When signing up, please indicate which grouping (team/pair/individual) you are signing up for.
NOTE: If you change groupings after your initial signup, you will be placed at the end of the list for your new grouping to keep signups fair.
Please sign up in the designated post! Any signups outside the designated post will not be a valid signup! Please make all changes to your roster by adding a new comment in the designated post!

⏰ Check-In Time: 5:15 PM
🏐 Balls Up: 5:30 PM (or after Champ of Champs League Tournament)
This will be a strict start time as schedules will be posted prior to the event!
Teams will start to gain points for each minute the opposing team is late and will forfeit the match if more then 5 minutes late (resulting in a +12 differential for the opposing team)
If part of your team isn’t present at the start, you may pick up a sub with the opposing team's approval. However, delays may result in shorter games.
No subs are allowed during bracket play (unless an injury occurs) and must be agreed upon by the initial opposing team.
⏳ Expected End Time: 1:00/2:00 AM if you make it to the finals!
💵 Entry Fee: $100 Per Team - Via Venmo @Alexey-Kaminski with the Message "March - Just Sign Up Tournament - Captain's First and Last Name"
On the Friday prior to the event, pairs and individuals will be randomly assigned to a team and added to a group chat. Each team should nominate one person to pay the entry fee, and teammates can coordinate reimbursement among themselves.
If you are registering as a full team, you have the option to pay before the Friday prior to the event.

🟢 Registration Information:
Accepting 26 Teams of 4s (13 Full Teams / 10 Pair Teams / 2 Individuall Teams - but will adjust based on signups)
• Team Sign-Ups: Full teams must include at least one girl, as you have complete control over your roster.
• Pair Sign-Ups: Any combination is allowed. You will be randomly paired with another duo, with adjustments made to ensure teams are balanced and fair.
• Individual Sign-Ups: Individuals will be grouped randomly, with adjustments made to ensure teams are balanced and fair.
For all teams created randomly, I will do my best to ensure an equal mix of genders, but this cannot be guaranteed. As a result, some teams may end up with 4 players of the same gender.

Format may be adjusted based on the number of sign-ups.
🎖️ Single Elimination Tournament – Varying formats to meet time constraints.
🔊 All players must report their scores/point differential after every match, win or lose.
🏆 Prizes: Money (via Venmo) & Pictures will be awarded to 1st and 2nd of Upper as well as 1st of Lower.
🚫 No outside alcohol allowed in Woodlands Backyard.
📄 Rules & Expectations:
• Players may stay in set positions on the court but must rotate servers after a side-out.
• No restrictions on who you can serve to.
• Directional blocking is allowed.
• Blocks don’t count as a touch.
• Open-hand receives are allowed if they are received and released without error (unless it’s a hard-driven attack - no upward trajectory, at pace)
• Setting over is allowed if clean and perpendicular to the body. Accidental set-overs result in a point for the other team.
• Doubles will be called at a BB Level (1-1.5 Spins Is Permitted)
• No lifting, carrying, or open-hand tips.
• No foot faults or touching the net. Players can cross into the other team's space if it doesn’t impede play
