Boom Selectah and 4Dub Vibes Soundsystem are bringing ONDUBGROUND from France to Greece for the first time. The show will take place at RED SEA Reggae Club in Athens powered by 4DUB VIBES soundsystem (3 SCOOPS).
Prepare to be mesmerized as ONDUBGROUND brings their unique blend of powerful dub performance, featuring a fusion of instruments and earth-shaking bass.
4DUB VIBES crew will kick off the event with some great dubs. You will have the chance to see for the first time in Athens, the female vocalist Pel Haze (a.k.a PELINA) performing on stage alongside Mellow Mood selectah in a dub style. The after-party will feature INVISIBLE SOUNDS with a dub DJ set.
ONDUBGROUND are celebrating 20 years in the dub music scene. This is a dub night you won't want to miss!
BIO:
ONDUBGROUND is a family story. Two musician brothers from Tours, Paul "Art-X" and Simon "Olo", launched a musical project in 2004 with one goal: to merge styles and electronic sounds.
Largely inspired by the "French dub" of the 2000s, by the English culture of dub soundsystem and bass music, ODG synthesizes these musical influences and offers on stage a performance halfway between a live electronic and instrumental.
Proactive, ONDUBGROUND produces and distributes its music by creating its own web label in the wake of its project: Original Dub Gathering (odgprod.com). This platform is now the showcase of the best on the current scene by making available to the public hundreds of references for free download. ODGPROD is the epicenter of dub culture.
Nikolas Yiakoumis aka "Invisible Sounds" started his professional career in music in 2009. Based in Athens and declares himself as a multi instrumentalist, as love for instruments made him learn many different. He is one of the founding members of the band "Road Duck" (guitar, vocals ) and guitarist of the "Vlastur" band. He is the producer of the Hip hop band "Twinsanity". As a bass music lover, Nikolas actively participates in the Sound System culture of Greece. The latest project that Nick created, called "Wera & Nick" where he takes care of the guitar, vocals and percussions. As "Invisible Sounds" he express himself through Trip Hop, Dub and bass music
