Ghost Media hosted 4AM KRU for the first time in 2023 on Matariki Eve at Valhalla, and that night was the stuff of legends, with people bouncing off the walls and ceilings. We are absolutely elated to host them in a larger venue, this time on Waitangi Eve, with an action packed lineup of local support acts.
For those unaware, 4AM KRU have been making tidal waves in the UK jungle scene since emerging post lockdown, showcasing their immersive brand of 1994 flavoured jungle through their ruckus live shows.
This year they released their acclaimed debut album "Incognito Rhythm", and in recent times the duo have performed at events such as Glastonbury, Outlook, Reading and Leeds, among countless other festivals. It is an honour to get them back in the capital - this is live jungle like you've never experienced before!
Our special guest, Leeds-based PHASMID, has also been carving his own lane for the past few years, garnering a fierce reputation for unique, hard hitting productions. An eclectic DJ & producer of breakbeat, electro, and trance amongst a wide range of other sounds, he has become known for his distinctively clean-cut, bass-led signature - both in his own tracks and that of his label Taipan Trax.
With appearances on Berlin’s HOR, and a range of European shows including in Lithuania, Barcelona, Belgium and Poland, Phasmid has firmly imprinted his sound upon the scene both at home and abroad, and it is a great honour to welcome him to the southern hemisphere for the first time.
Joining him on local support we have familiar favourites SWIMCAP, YOUNG GHO$T and WHAEA G, plus fresh face APRHICOT, each delivering their own unique take on the sound.
