Join us for the 48th Mill Valley Film Festival, October 2–12! Experience 11 days of world-class cinema, featuring the best in U.S. and international films, thought provoking documentaries, family favorites, and more.
This year’s highlights include a special Tribute Night honoring filmmaker Spike Lee on October 11, when he will be presented with the MVFF Lifetime Achievement Award.
Screenings and events will take place at the Smith Rafael Film Center in San Rafael, Sequoia Cinema in Mill Valley, the Lark Theater in Larkspur, and the Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA) in Berkeley.

MIND THE GAP
The Mill Valley Film Festival continues to inspire with films, conversations, and community. Don’t miss the Festival’s gender equity initiative, Mind the Gap—its 10th Anniversary, celebrating the bold work of female and non-binary filmmakers. Join in for a dynamic day of connection—featuring a summit, networking lunch, film screenings, filmmaker lounge access, and a lively happy hour.

DURING THE FESTIVAL:
SMITH RAFAEL FILM CENTER – BOX OFFICE
Throughout the festival, the box office at the Smith Rafael Film Center will open 1 hour before the first screening of the day and close 15 minutes after the last.
SEQUOIA CINEMA – BOX OFFICE
Noon – 8:00pm daily
We’ll be in the Sequoia Cinema’s box office 12–8pm daily, as well as always 1 hour before the first screening of the day and close 15 minutes after the last.
OUTDOOR ART CLUB
Noon – 8:00pm daily
We’ll have additional support for members at the Outdoor Art Club daily from 12–8pm, as well as for extended hours during our Opening Weekend and to correspond with screening schedules in the Sequoia Cinema.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT
In addition to our main box offices at the Smith Rafael Film Center and the Sequoia Cinema, we’ll also have in-person support available at the Lark Theater and BAMPFA. Additional Support Box Offices will open 1 hour before the first screening of the day and close 15 minutes after the last.
REMOTE SUPPORT
In an effort to remain as accessible as possible, remote Box Office support will be available from Sept. 8 through the end of the festival.
