Welcome back to the Norris-Penrose Events Center and Bear Creek Park for the 48th Annual Rescue Run to benefit El Paso County Search and Rescue!LOCATION: Start and finish lines are at the Norris-Penrose Events Center
START TIME: 5K and 10K start together at 10:00 am. The start line will be open until 10:10 am.
TRAIL CONDITIONS: Weather dependent, but expect ice on trails and wooden bridges throughout the course. We encourage traction.
PARKING: There are two large lots with plenty of parking available. Please allow for amply time to park and pickup your race packet.
PACKET PICKUP: Begins at 8:30 am on race day.
POTTIES: We add more every year, but there is always a line. Please allow time. If you are in line and the race starts, don't panic, the starting mat will still be active.
REGISTRATION: No race day registration. Online registration ends December 31 at 6:00 pm MST.
- Nov 1 - Nov 30 - $25 Entry Fee / $15 optional shirt
- Dec 1 - Dec 31 - $35 Entry Fee / $15 optional Shirt
Long-sleeve tech shirt add-on is optional during signup. Sizes are unisex, XS - XXL. Shirts and bibs will be available for pickup in December. This year our store partners, Colorado Running Company and Runners Roost, are giving a 10% discount on full-price purchases made when you pick up your bib/shirt.
