Please note space in the Iris Cinema is limited, you must register for a (free) ticket to secure your spot.In this free workshop & networking event, Mark Knight will discuss screenwriting tips and best practices, and how to use the 48 Hour Film Project genre requirements to your advantage. In Mark’s words, “the rules were made to be followed.” In such a short production timeframe, story is the most important element of your film to get right.
Mark is a script and story consultant, and has developed television projects for Red Bull Media House, Canal +, BBC/BBC America, ITV, FX Canada, and The SyFy Chanel (US). His television work has included developing the anthology series "The 543", and "Mythic Tales" in Canada. Scripted reality programming in the UK and the original feature films "Harry's First Flight" and "Mission Belle". Mark has provided coverage to over 2500 scripts and consulted on over 200 projects.
This is also a great last chance to link up with a team if you haven’t already done so or to learn more about the 48HFP competition.
Doors open at 5 pm with the presentation starting at 5:30 pm. Drinks and snacks available for purchase at The Mercury bar.
