47th Annual Robert Burns Dinner & Celebration

Welcome to the 47th Annual Robert Burns Dinner & Celebration from the Scottish-American Society of the Quad Cities! Join us on Sat Feb 22, 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf for a night of traditional Scottish food, music, and poetry in honor of the famous poet Robert Burns. This in-person event is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in Scottish culture and enjoy a fun evening with friends and family. Don't miss out on this unique celebration!

Social Hour/Arrivals: 5:30 to 6:30pm

Toasts, Address to A Haggis, Blessing: 6:30 pm

Dinner: 7:15 pm

Dinner/after dinner entertainment:

• Bagpipes: Black Hawk Pipes & Drums
• Scottish Dance Lesson: Kait Meeker
• Raffles - Check board list for your number.
• Grand March & Auld Lang Syne closes evening

Menu:

Starter: Haggis and crackers, House Salad - Mixed Garden Greens with fresh garden vegetables, Ranch & Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressings

Entree Options:

• Lemon Dill Salmon, Pan seared salmon with lemon dill sauce
• Flat Iron Steak and Honey Chicken Duet, Herb and pepper crusted flat iron steak, honey herb and spiced marinated chicken breast
• Vegetarian Lasagna
• Child's Menu (12 yrs. and under), Chicken Tenders, macaroni & cheese, Gelatin Salad
