Help us end hunger, here in the Conejo Valley, in the US and around the world! Join us for the 2024 Conejo Valley CROP Walk where we raise funds and awareness for the problems of food insecurity. The walk is a 4 mile+ walk and we also offer a shorter campus stroll, a 20 minute tour of the California Lutheran University Campus led by a CLU alumni.
Bring friends, bring your family. The event is free although of course donations are welcomed. Raise $200 in donations and get a free T-shirt. This is an amazing event for a good cause, supporting https://cwsglobal.org/, AKA Church World Services, an ecumenical organization of 37 denominations promoting food security and sustainable development here and around the world. The walk starts and ends outside Rolland stadium on the CLU campus.
25% of the funds raised stay locally to support local organizations helping people get adequate nutrition and shelter including Harbor House, Manna and Harvest Food Banks and Meals on Wheels of Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village.
