45-Year Reunion - Class of 1980 - Beechwood Elementary Pgh PA

Welcome to the Class of 1980, 45-Year Reunion of Beechwood Elementary in Pgh, PA! We're excited to reconnect with old friends and make new memories at Gaetano's | Banquet Center & Catering. Join us for a night of laughter, reminiscing, and delicious food. Don't miss this chance to catch up with classmates and celebrate our shared history. Let's make this reunion one to remember! This invitation is to all our classmates, teachers, and staff (+1) from Beechwood Elementary. The class of 1980 was Beechwood's last 8th grade class before the school changed to K-5.
The day starts off at 1pm with a tour of Beechwood Elementary (ticket not required).
At 2pm there will be a time for slides, memories, and reflection in the auditorium.

3pm the tour will end and dinner at Gaetano's will begin at 4pm. (ticket required).

Get your tickets today as there is limited seating. If bringing a guest, be sure to select 2 tickets. (Please check your calendars to make sure you are available as there are no refunds).

This event is organized by Dana Lacek and Waundell Saavedra.

Info: The day will start off at 1pm with a tour of Beechwood. We will be escorted by a tour guide (security reasons). As most classrooms will be locked, we will have access to the hallways and can take photos at classroom doors*. This is a time to reminisce and see all the changes that have been made in our grade school. (*Taking photos of school logos or any displayed pictures of students is strictly prohibited.)

Info: After the tour, we will convene in the auditorium for a slide presentation, a time of sharing, and a time of remembering classmates who are no longer with us. If you wish to share memories, please prepare 2-3 minutes of comments and let Dana or Waundell know so you can be added to the speaker list. We will close by 2:45PM as we must exit the building promptly at 3pm. Dinner at Gaetano's will start at 4pm.

Info: After the tour of Beechwood we will meet at Gaetano's Banquet Hall on Banksville Rd. for dinner. This will be a time to enjoy a meal while catching up with former classmates and teachers. Menu: Chicken Florentine, Sausage, Meatballs, Pasta, Vegetables, Tossed Salad, Rolls, Coffee/Tea. -- We are permitted to bring our own desserts so if you bake and want to share a cake, pie, cookies or some other sweet treat let us know! ALSO please make mention of any dietary restrictions!
