The Active 20-30 Club of Redding is thrilled to announce that the 44th Annual Redding Lighted Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Downtown Redding. This year’s theme, “Christmas in the Wild,” invites the community to embrace the wonder of the holiday season with a wild twist—blending the spirit of Christmas with the beauty, adventure, and untamed magic of the outdoors.This year’s parade will roll downtown starting at 6:00 p.m., filling the streets with dazzling lights, festive music, and holiday cheer. Families can expect creative entries that celebrate the wilderness and a boundless sense of adventure – think glowing forests, woodland creatures, and rugged scenes that bring “Christmas in the Wild” to life.
The parade has been a cornerstone of community celebration for decades, bringing together families, friends, and neighbors to kick off the holiday season. Thousands are expected to line the streets to enjoy the spectacle, which highlights the creativity of local businesses, schools, nonprofits, and community groups.
Christmas in the Wild invites the community to embrace the wonder of the holiday season with a wild twist, blending the spirit of Christmas with the beauty, adventure and untamed magic of the outdoors.
Parade-goers can look forward to:
-Lighted floats from local businesses, schools, and community groups, each bringing their own creative spin to “Christmas in the Wild.”
-Marching bands and performers filling the streets with joyful holiday tunes and earthy beats.
-A special appearance by Santa Claus—straight from the North Pole to woodsy Northern California.
Want to Join the Fun? Float registration is now open for businesses, community organizations, and individuals ready to bring their holiday creativity to life. The Active 20-30 Club encourages organizations and individuals to sign up early to secure their spot in this year’s lineup. Applications are due November 27th, 2025. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses looking to support this beloved community tradition.
