Celebrate 420 the right way this year: with hilarious live standup comedy in historic Downtown Saint Paul! Be forewarned you will laugh til you cry, til you fall off your chair, or til you forget why you're laughing in the first place. This comedy lineup includes some of the top standup comedians in the Twin Cities, including Saint Paul's very own Jimmie Davis and Jesse The Shrink!From 3:00-7:00pm *Grounded Gardens will be hosting a pre-show 420 community celebration, including pipe painting lessons, local art displays, local cannabis vendors, food, beverages, and music by DJ Low. Doors for the comedy show open at 7:30 and the laughs begin at 8:00! Grounded Gardens is located just 3 blocks west of Xcel Energy Center along the storied stretch of West 7th Street.
*Green Gardens is a local hemp-based small business that is female-owned, grows their own organic hemp on their own local homesteaded farm with sustainable farming practices, and uses that hemp to create a myriad of high-quality, hand-crafted cannabis products.

ABOUT THE COMEDIANS
*Jimmie Davis*
Jimmie is a Minnesota "nice" native. He began his comedy career in the early 1990s by honing his craft at local venues such as Knuckle Heads Comedy Club. He would quickly venture out to perform at The Minnesota State Fair and various other venues all over the Twin Cities.
He started Full of It Comedy Club in Saint Paul in the late 1990s, where he featured up-and-coming comedians in the area to help them hone their skills. Since then he has continued to perform his brand of hilarious comedy routines across the US.

*Lahiru Samarasinghe*
Lahiru has been performing standup in the Twin Cities since 2016. In 2022 and 2023, he was a part of the 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival in Minneapolis, MN. Lahiru has been a finalist at the House of Comedy's Funniest Person With a Day Job contest and has been runner-up in Acme Comedy Club's Funniest Person Contest.
In 2024, Racket MN named Lahiru one of the "Comics to Watch in 2024".
Currently, Lahiru works at the Comedy Corner Underground in Minneapolis, hosting shows, running the room, and providing booking support. He also hosts The Modist Comedy Hour, a monthly comedy showcase at Modist Brewing in Minneapolis. By viewing his experience as the oldest American-born child of a Sri Lankan family through a silly lens, Lahiru is able to share his life in a way audiences can relate to.
*Jesse The Shrink*
What do you get when you cross a shrink & a standup comedian? This guy! Jesse is a bona fide licensed therapist as well as the producer & host of Jesse The Shrink's Midlife Crisis Show & The St Paul Comedy All-Stars Show. He was also a finalist in the 2023 Funniest Person With A Day Job contest at Rick Bronson's House of Comedy, has been a guest on the KQRS Morning Show & Tom Barnard Podcast, & is a co-founder of Freshly Squeezed Comedy.
Jesse gives audiences a sneak peek into the inner-workings and often hilarious experiences of a mental health professional. Whether he’s talking about the horrors of doing online therapy during the apocalypse or just trying to figure out what to tell drunk people he does for a living, one thing’s for sure: after hearing Jesse’s stories you’ll never see therapy (or your therapist) the same again!
*Pege Miller*
Pege started her comedy career at the Honolulu Comedy Club on the island of Oahu, Hawaii & she's been making audiences from Hawaii to the midwest laugh ever since! Known for her high-energy & positive-vibes demeanor, along with a sharp sense of humor that will leave you in stitches, Pege has become a favorite performer at comedy clubs across the Twin Cities & beyond.
*Kimberly Ashlynne*
Kimberly is a foul-mouthed divorcee that's barreling through life one Sauvignon Blanc at a time. Born and raised as a child of a Baptist preacher, and married for 25 grueling years, she escaped that life to live out her dreams. Onstage her energy is living out loud... and no apologies!
A true up-and-comer in the Twin Cities comedy scene, Kimberly has performed in shows for YellowBrick Comedy and Freshly Squeezed Comedy, featured at The Emporium in Hudson, WI, headlined The Moose open mic in NE Minneapolis, will be co-headlining the Gambit Brewing open mic in St Paul this spring, and is ready for more!

Whether it’s his fun name, his colorful beard, or his zany observations, johNny pickLes is truly a one-of-a-kind comic! A 2022 semifinalist in Acme Comedy Club’s Funniest Person in the Twin Cities contest, Pickles is a regular in the Twin Cities standup comedy scene, having graced the stages of Acme Comedy Club, Laugh Camp Comedy Club, Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy, the Joke Joint, and Sisyphus Brewing.
