Living History re-enactment of the only Civil War battle to occur in Marion County, Florida. Authentic Union, Confederate, and civilian encampments, numerous historical displays and demonstrations, scavenger hunt among authentic camps for youngsters, and two battle re-enactments with infantry and artillery units. Food concessions on site. Grounds open 9 AM to 4 PM each day, with battle re-enactments at 2 PM. Blankets and chairs recommended for watching battle reenactments.
