Come join us for the 40th running of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon. Bib #1, the spirit of John Beargrease leaves the chute at 11:00 AM, followed by our Marathon Mushers. These are the BIG GUNS -- they will be racing 300 miles over the course of several days finishing at the Grand Portage Casino near the Canadian Border on Tuesday night and into the early hours of Wednesday morning. Immediately following the Marathon Teams, will be the Beargrease 120 Teams who will finish at the Trestle Inn in Finland MN on Monday.
Then, our Beargrease 40 teams will take to the start line and head up to Two Harbors and finish on Sunday afternoon.
