Team up for a special tournament where each of you brings an army of 1000 points. The coolest part about this tournament is these factions don't have to match or even be friendly! Orks & Ultramarines? Elder & Slaanesh? Necrons and anyone? It doesn't matter! Team up and see how well your armies play together to win eternal glory and bring the Galaxy to heel.

ARMY CONSTRUCTION
A team is composed of 2 separate 1000-point rosters.
Each player must use the current rules for army construction at 1000 points.
No points sharing between teammates.
Each Player has a warlord & both warlords count as such on the table for all rules purposes.
Unique Units / Characters are limited to one per team not per person (Ex. Necron Teammates only get one(1) Silent King)
Each player on a team generates their own Command Point that is added to the teams pool. Either player on the team can use CP from the teams pool. Each team can generate an additional one(1) CP per turn max, Including discarding Secondary objectives.
Identical Army Rules should only be used once per team. (Ex. Ork teammates only get one(1) Waaagh, Space Marine teammates only get one(1) Oath of the Moment target, Aeldari teammates only roll one(1) set of dice for Strands of Fate. T’ua Empire teammates can Observe and Guid for each other. Etc etc.
The team is considered “friendly” for rules purposes. Any ability, stratagem, psychic power, etc., that has the appropriate keywords can affect both players' units.
Army rules do not cross over between players unless all keywords are met. (Ex. a Chaos Space marine stratagem cannot be used on an Aeldari unit, even though it might contain the phrase “a unit in your army”.
Detachment rules will ONLY benefit that detachment, even if both players on a team share the same detachment rules. For example, if two Space Marines players on the same team use Gladius, combat doctrines are determined per player. If Player A uses the Devastator Doctrine, Player A’s units ONLY benefit from that doctrine. Likewise, Player B has access to the Devastator Doctrine and can use it on a future turn. If both players wish to use the same doctrine on the same turn, they may do so.
Each team may only use the same stratagem once per phase. For example, if Player A uses Strike and Fade out of the Drukhari detachment during the shooting phase, Player B may not.
Players on the same team cannot use transports for each other’s units. Ex. Player A cannot embark his Ork Freebooters into Player B’s Rhino. Unless both players are using the same faction. For example, if both players are playing Tau, Player A can use Player B’s Devilfish to embark their Breachers at any point during or before the game begins.
Secondary Objectives are scored by the team not per player.

Primary Mission Object and Deployment zones will be provided at the Tournament.
Secondary Mission Objectives should be drawn from the Tacitcal Mission Deck.
*** This is a TO-placed Terrain Tournament.***
At the event, when a judge is needed please call for one. The first response of a judge will always be "Show me the rule in question in the relevant source," ie. Codex, core rules, faq. Digital sources are allowed, excluding the Battlescribe app, as it is riddled with errors and paraphrasing.

We will be accepting the Warhammer 40K app as a rules source. We will require all players to bring digital or physical copies of their rules.
"Counts as" or proxy models will not be accepted. Converted models are allowed, if you have any questions on your conversions please contact the judge. There is no painting requirement for this event
If you have any additional questions or concerns feel free to post them here and your judge will be happy to answer them!
