40 Years of Purple Rain: A Musical Tribute to Prince

In the 40 years since Prince’s seminal Purple Rain movie and soundtrack were released, the worlds of music, culture, love and soul has yet to forget the sheer brilliance, and fearless vibrancy, of Prince and the Revolution. On July 27th, 2024, 40 years to the day of the Purple Rain movie release, we will relive that moment in 1984 through Anthony Cosby, Jr.'s tribute and re-creation of the full Purple Rain album. And, dearly beloved, you won’t wanna miss it. Joining Anthony, in the elegant Richmond Hippodrome, is an all-star band of musicians and performers from all across the US ready to make you dance, sing and shout like we did in 1984! Let’s Go Crazy, and make this summer a Purple One.
