As you know, COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease spread primarily from person-to-person. The organizers of your Class of ’81 40th High School Reunion greatly encourages anyone who is considering participating and attending the Reunion events in-person to review the CDC guidelines, prevention recommendations and risk factors found at cdc.gov. While we would love to see each and every one of you – your safety and health are of the utmost importance.
Anyone purchasing a ticket and voluntarily attending any reunion event advertised on this or any other forum will subject themselves to and will agree to be bound by the following Acknowledgement, Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk
COVID-19 ACKNOWELDGMENT, LIABILITY WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I recognize that COVID-19 has been declared a worldwide pandemic and that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 (and variants) in any public place. By purchasing a ticket and/or voluntarily participating in any Fletcher Class of ’81 Reunion event, I understand and expressly acknowledge that attendance is potentially dangerous due to the risk of acquiring COVID-19 or any other infectious disease. I hereby assume all risk of loss, damage or injury with my participation and/or attendance at any reunion event. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed at any reunion event may result from the acts or omissions of others; and that the organizers of any of the reunion events cannot guarantee that I will not be infected with COVID-19 or any other infectious disease while attending the events. In consideration of my ability to attend the reunion events, I, on behalf of myself and my heirs, successors and assigns, do hereby forever waive, release, and discharge the reunion organizers (either individually or as a group) and all others in attendance from any and all damages, losses, liability, claims or demands of any nature which may be incurred in any way related to COVID-19 or any other infectious disease in connection with my participation in any reunion events.
