🪩 Summer Ballroom & Latin Dance Courses – Greenwich 🪩

Booking is now open for a series of Summer Ballroom & Latin Dance courses in Greenwich.
These shorter 4-week courses are designed to help you develop your technique, confidence and understanding of a variety of Ballroom & Latin dances in a friendly and supportive environment.

✨ MONDAY COURSE 1: PASO DOBLE
Weeks 1–4: 13th, 20th, 27th July & 3rd August
🕡 Time: 6.45pm–7.45pm
We will begin by exploring the fundamentals of Paso Doble and how this dramatic dance can be enjoyed in a social setting. From there, we will introduce more advanced figures and mini-sequences, exploring how the basics can be combined with more elaborate material.
This course is open to all levels.

✨ MONDAY COURSE 2: FOXTROT TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP
Weeks 1–4: 13th, 20th, 27th July & 3rd August
🕗 Time: 8.00pm–9.00pm
Using Slow Foxtrot as our vehicle, we will explore Ballroom technique in greater depth, including:
• Walking actions and footwork
• Weight transfer and body movement
• CBMP and Outside Partner positions
• Musicality and floorcraft
• Transitioning between Social Foxtrot and Slow Foxtrot
A basic understanding of Slow Foxtrot will be helpful, as the emphasis will be on technique rather than learning extensive choreography. The principles covered will benefit all Ballroom dances and are valuable for dancers of all levels.

✨ TUESDAY COURSE: SALSA BEGINNERS (Cross Body / LA Style)
Weeks 1–4: 14th, 21st, 28th July & 4th August
🕢 Time: 7.30pm–8.30pm
Come and join the fun that is Salsa! This energetic and sociable dance is perfect for the Summer months.
Designed for complete beginners and those wishing to refresh their basics, this course will introduce the core principles of Cross Body (LA Style) Salsa in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
