A hand-building Pottery course designed for beginners. Come learn various hand-building techniques and create some fun take home pieces in the process.Week 1: Pinch Pot Method: Textured Bowls
Week 2: Slab Building: Mugs
Week 3: Coil Pottery: Vases
Week 4: Open Create Night
You’ll be provided the clay and all the materials needed for the 4 weeks.
At the end of the event, you’ll be able to select up to 1 colour per item that you would like. We’ll take care of the rest.
I will then take the your pieces and bisque and glaze fire them over the course of 10-12 week period.(if it takes longer I’ll be sure to update you)
Once completed, I will arrange pick up with you to grab your all of your items. 🙂
Note: Due to the temperment and natural matter of clay, heat, ect. Sometimes pottery breaks during the drying & firing process. If that is the case, I will look to provide you a voucher for a following class as refunds are not provided if this is the case.
This Pottery course is open to all. Men, Woman and Non Binary.
