4 Hour Mosaic Workshop

We have been running mosaic workshops for several years and the most consistent feedback we receive is a) what a fabulous workshop and b) it needs to be longer. So here we have it, a 4 hour mosaic workshop.

This workshop enables you to learn the art of mosaic: from design through to a finished piece.

You will have the opportunity to create a mosaic on a board or on mesh, depending on whether you want the mosaic for indoor or external installation. You can either make 2 a4 size mosaics or one bigger piece a3 in size.

Over the 4 hours you will be guided through the design and making process to learn the techniques needed to create a beautiful mosaic.

If you have a specific project in mind then that's fine too, please bring your design ideas and measurements. We can help you kick start your project and you will have the opportunity to purchase additional tiles and equipment if you have a bigger, more ambitious project in mind.

*NB – Projects will need to be grouted at home. All grout is included in the cost and you will get a demonstration on how to do this.

FAQ's

1. Parking - There is plenty of space in the yard

2. Refreshments- Tea, coffee and biscuits provided. You are welcome to bring lunch.

3. What to wear- Mosaic isn’t particularly messy but the studio can be dusty and you will be using PVA glue so we recommend wearing clothes you don’t care about or to bring an over shirt or apron.

4. Designs- It’s not essential but we recommend coming to the workshop with an idea in mind. We recommend looking at Pinterest or our social media for inspiration.
