4 Hana-the Hitomezashi & Weave Sashiko Workshop
Discover the art of Japanese stitching. Hitomezashi, or “One-Stitch” a denser style of Sashiko stitching that is worked on the grids and weaving techniques.
In this class, you will be guided to create and stitch 4 different patterns of flowers (Hana=Flowers in Japanese)
-Hydrangea
-Persimmon
-Morning Glory
-Cherry Blossom
All materials are provided with a complimentary afternoon tea. Each of you will go home with your own project, as well as the materials (threads, needles, and instructions) to continue more at home!
Skill level: Intermediate (Recommend to continue after Basic Boro & Sashiko Workshop)
