Meat My Grill Tailgate Camp for Ages 11-18June 9th-11th, 2026
We will adventure to Jackson County to learn how to safely master the grill this summer! This fun-filled day camp will provide youth with important life skills such as grilling safety, responsibility, and food prep. From grilling beef, poultry, pork and shrimp, youth have the opportunity to grill, eat and even compete!
• Leave Time: 8:30 am Bay County Extension Office arrive back around 4:30 daily
• Event Time 10:00-3:00, bring lunch @Jackson County Extension Office
• Cost: $100
• Project: Food & Nutrition
• County contest qualification for district competition will be on Friday June 18
