Event Description: In this interactive 90-minute session, we’ll explore how to build a supportive birth team and make empowered, informed choices during labor. Whether you’re hoping for an unmedicated birth or planning to use medical interventions, this workshop offers balanced, evidence-based information to help you feel more prepared and in control.

In Birth Support + Medical Options, we’ll cover the roles of birth partners and doulas, along with comfort tools they can use to support you in labor. You'll also learn how to advocate for your preferences using the B.R.A.I.N. decision-making method, as well as explore common medical options like induction (natural and medical), IVs, Pitocin, continuous monitoring, epidurals, and even gentle cesarean approaches.

This is the second workshop in our 3rd Trimester + Labor Prep Series. Each session stands alone, so feel free to attend the ones most relevant to your birth planning.

Meet Your Instructor: Emma Andriotis

Emma is a devoted mother of two and a passionate holistic birth and postpartum doula serving families across South Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania. She believes deeply in each person’s innate wisdom and strength to birth their baby and is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care throughout the perinatal journey.

Emma offers a wide range of services including birth and postpartum doula support, lactation guidance, babywearing education, and holistic practices that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. As a certified Hypnobabies® Hypno-Doula, she specializes in helping families prepare for calm, confident, and empowered births.
