The event is held down at the Green Door Studio every month by Mavstar and the venerable DJ Kanganade, and presented by Anthill Collective. There will be cyphers to open and close the night. The event serves to highlight local and touring acts once a month on the… yeah, you get it.
Felecia Cruz is a powerhouse of an MC with a respectable resume and is an accomplished DJ as well. She has been spending a lot of time in Vietnam with her music and there has been some talk of this being her last USA tour. It is quite the tour too- she is pulling out all the stops. Come out and show love.
Omega Jade is a modern day renaissance woman with credentials in hip-hop, comedy, entrepreneurship, blogging, social justice, and being a great Mom. I'm probably missing a few things. Come see what she's about.
The Funky Diabetic has been coming into his own element for real for real the past few years. He carries himself like a younger cat and his style reflects this but you can easily see that he has been heavily influenced by the OGs.
Nasty Kid and Geela are a MC and producer duo from Buffalo, New York. I get old school/ early 2000's vibes from these cats and I think we will be in for a cool show.
