The Midlands of South Carolina Black Nurses Association will sponsor its 4th Scholarship Luncheon, with the theme 'Cultivating Nursing Excellence through Community Engagement', highlighting key chapter initiatives that foster community engagement as an effective way to promote the visibility of the nursing profession. The event will showcase the chapter's community outreach, including its collaborative initiative with the Medical University of South Carolina with the Community Scholars Program and its continued success of the Mini Nurse Academy, an innovative program developed by the National Black Nurses Association to introduce elementary school students to the nursing profession.
