160 years ago, there was no electricity, no running water, and definitely NO internet. What did folks do for fun? How did they live?Get a look at what life would have been like for native people and white settlers. We will have hands-on activities that replicate the era whether living a transient lifestyle like a trapper, or a stationary lifestyle like a homesteader. You will even get to see what life like a kid was like! We will have crafts and toys like kids played with in 1865.
The new exhibits in the Pioneer Room will be open and you can see what school was like way back then!
A bonus, Seattle Theatre Company Living Voices will host a performance of 160 years ago, there was no electricity, no running water, and definitely no internet. What did folks do for fun? How did they live?
