Event Details: 3rd Saturday Adventures are back! Join UpaDowna for a new hike in a new location each month followed by a post-hike beer provided by our sponsor Old Colorado City Brewing.We are throwing it back to our old slogan of "Up a Mountain, Down a Beer!" Join us as we take on the Manitou Incline. This is a challenging 4-mi. roundtrip hike including over 2,000 ft. of elevation gain in 1-mi. All participants are welcome to join us at our sponsor brewery OCC Brewing for brunch and 1/2 off beers.
UpaDowna has made reservations for our hikers. No additional reservations are needed if you are registered to attend this event.

Goals for this program include connecting people with their natural surroundings in their community, connecting participants with other community members, and helping to foster a level of comfort with exploring new spaces.
Wear sturdy shoes, bring sun protection, and water.
Meeting Point: Meet at the START of the Incline at 10AM.
Parking: Please plan an additional 30-45 minutes to allow time for parking and bus ride to the Incline. All participants must park in the Hiawatha Gardens Parking Lot located OR the Iron Springs Chateau Parking. Please abide by parking signs in Manitou Springs.
Hiawatha Gardens Parking Lot - 10 Old Man’s Trail
-Parking costs $1.50/hour for 1-3 hours and $2/hour for 4-5 hours.
-Make sure to get a parking pass from the meter, tear the ticket on the marked line, leave the top part of your ticket on your dash and take the bottom section with you as your proof of parking.
-Enter your phone number when making your reservation to receive alerts when your parking is about to expire and extend if needed.
-The free shuttle runs from Hiawatha Gardens to the Incline between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm. Approximately every 20 minutes between these times
Iron Springs Chateau Parking - 444 Ruxton Ave
-Fee-based parking - Make sure to get a parking pass from the attendant.
-Parking is $10 per car for 4 hours - cash only
-Parking is on a first come first served system
Event Cost: 3rd Saturday Adventures are a donation-based event. Recommended $5 donation. Please donate what you can afford! UpaDowna's mission is to provide access to outdoor adventures for all. Our donation-based events break down monetary barriers while also allowing us to continue to offer free and affordable events!

Do I have to have past hiking experience?
• No! UpaDowna welcomes all activity and ability levels. We will have staff and volunteers with you along with you the entire way!
Are dogs allowed?
• We love our furry friends, but please keep them at home! Some hikes may not allow dogs and we also would like to keep a welcoming environment for those participants who may not be comfortable with dogs.
Am I allowed to bring a friend?
• Yes, but they need to sign up for an online ticket as well.
