3rd Regional Festival of India @ Matthews

We are delighted to invite you to be captivated by the vibrant tapestry of Indian culture at the 3rd Regional Festival of India in Matthews on April 27, 2024 from Noon - 6:00 PM.

After two successful years of partnership with the Town of Matthews on their artistic and cultural diversity initiatives, we are excited to announce our 3rd Regional Festival Of India at Matthews, a one day event in an open setting in downtown Matthews(Stumptown Park, 120 South Trade St., Matthews, NC 28105)

This is a great family event where you will get a feel for Indian culture, be entertained and hopefully learn a bit more about the rich artistic heritage of India!

This cultural festival showcases diversity of Indian dance, food, art, music and Bollywood entertainment. Don't miss out on fun for all ages including turban tying, henna tattoo, experience the timeless elegance of a Saree. Also let your taste buds savor Indian food at the Food Court and pick up some Indian souvenirs at the Bazaar.

This event is organized by the India Association of Charlotte, in active partnership with the Town of Matthews, and is supported by grant assistance from the Arts & Science Council.

The mission of IAC is to share Indian culture with the people of the Carolinas and to foster better understanding of the cultural diversity of India with the mainstream community at large.
