?3RD PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION?Capturing a photograph is one of the most common things in our time as technology permits us to snap a shot anytime, we want. However, it is always challenging to show how architectural photography emerges also with an artistic and purely aesthetic character rather than being a mere tool of objective documentation.
Since its invention, photography has been accepted as a reliable tool for architecture in terms of its power for creating objective documents of the built form. The aim of this competition is to inspire students to be more thoughtful while capturing a photograph.

⚫ Winter in Bangladesh
⚫ Boats of Bangladesh
?PRIZES:
There will be three prizes for the First, Second and Third prize winners. The prize money amounts are:
?1st prize- Tk 15,000 ONLY
?2nd prize- Tk 10,000 ONLY
?3rd prize- Tk 5,000 ONLY

?SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
Entrants need to choose any ONE theme for MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY & will submit
1️⃣ Step-1:
✅ SINGLE JPEG file. [Captured by Mobile Phone Camera]
✅Aspect ratio: 4: 3 [Landscape/Portrait]
✅ Maximum File Size: 10 MB
✅ The file should be renamed as the following format:
[Name of the Student]_Registration No
2️⃣ Step-2:
✅ Scanned Copy of Student Id Card must be emailed during Submission As proof of eligibility
✅ Maximum File Size: 10 MB
✅ The file should be renamed in the following format:
[Name of the Student]_ID

SUBJECT OF THE EMAIL: Registration Code*_Name of the Student
* Will be provided through email
* ONE PARTICIPANT CAN SUBMIT ONLY ONE ENTRY!
?The participants must provide all the information including personal details that should be filled up correctly in the registration.
?Once the Participant is selected as the winner in any position, he/she might be able to provide evidence on the given academic qualification mentioned in the form.
?Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

?ELIGIBILITY TO COMPETE:
?Students who have passed SSC and/or HSC (or equivalent exams) but have yet to enroll in any undergraduate program.
?Date of Birth & copy of Student Id Card must be submitted during registration as proof of eligibility
?REGISTRATION:
All the participants need to fill up a registration form to register. The link for the registration form will be available on the Facebook Event page.
?There is no registration fee for registering in the competition.
?No submissions will be accepted without registration.
?Email Address, Name, Phone number, and Student ID number given in the registration form must match with the Submission Form.
?ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULT:
All the participants will be invited in person on campus for result announcement and price giving ceremony followed by Architecture Student Work Exhibition, Campus Tour & Refreshments.
??⚖️?⚖️⚖️JURY PANEL:
The total judgment process will be held ONLINE, and the jury panel will select the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd entries from among all the valid entries of the submission and will decide the award within minimum possible days.
This jury panel is formed by THREE members:
1. Ar. Ashik Mannan Vaskor (Associate Professor, AIUB)
2. Ar. Tabassum Zarin (Assistant Professor, AIUB)
3. Ar. Md. Tarek Morad (Assistant Professor, AIUB)
