On Friday, May 15th, the beloved 3rd Friday Céilí joins that SNNW festival with a very special focus: celebrating and welcoming the next generation of Irish musicians.
Esteemed fiddler Betsy Branch & Greta Hazilla will lead Portland’s youth and Adult musicians in an unforgettable evening of live Irish music.
Last year’s youth céilí was a hugely successful, joy-filled night, and this year promises to be even bigger. Any youth musician is welcome to learn the tunes and join in. Betsy will provide a set list of tunes in advance, giving young players the chance to play alongside seasoned musicians and experience the magic of powering a dance floor.
