Quizzers Society of BUP is ecstatic to present BUP- 3rd National Quiz Festival 2023, another iteration of its grand event of the year of Bangladesh University of Professionals. This club promises to deliver an exhilarating experience with standards and cordiality.Quizzers Society of Bangladesh University of Professionals (QSBUP) is going to organize '3rd BUP National Quiz Festival 2023' from February 10 to 11, 2023. This will be the largest national quiz festival in the history of Bangladesh. There will be separate eight segments. The festival will consist of the following competitions and events–
1. BUP Quiz League
2. University Quiz
3. Pop Culture Quiz
4. FIFA World Cup Quiz
5. Harry Potter Quiz
6. International & History Quiz
7. Bangladesh & Liberation War Quiz
8. Literature Quiz

Day-1: Friday, February 10th, 2023
8.30 am-9.00 am: Arrival of Participants
9.30 am- 10.45 am: Quiz League (Round 1)
10.45 am- 12.00 am: Quiz League (Round 2)
12.00 pm- 1.30 pm: Quiz League (Round 3)
1.30 pm- 2.30 pm: Prayer & Lunch Break
2.30 pm- 3.00 pm: University Quiz (Written)
3.00 pm- 5.00 pm: University Quiz (Stage)

Event Details
1. BUP Quiz League:
Quizzing has always been a platform for the awe-inspirers, the buzzer-in-hand stage wizards. Literature, movies, history, sports or technology - their vast array of knowledge marks their depth. In a circuit dominated by adept veterans, it is exceedingly difficult to break out and attain establishment as a competent quizzer. And for any amateur quizzer, the opportunity to compete in a team comprised of sensational quizzer may be the tonic that hones their skills.
To provide inquisitive learners and veterans alike the opportunity to display their flair, for the very first time, Quizzers Society of Bangladesh University of Professionals (QSBUP) is exhilarated to bring you 'BUP QUIZ LEAGUE’
Participation Details:
• Pool A: Pool A comprises of reputed & experienced quizzers.
• Pool B: Pool B is applicable for regular quizzers
• Pool C: Pool C is made up of fresh/new quizzers
Pool A, Pool B and Pool C quizzers will have to pre-reg for the bidding. There is no pre-registration fee. The selected quizzers will have to pay their registration fees (Tk 300) after being chosen for a team.
Quizzers will have to register individually and the authorized board will profile them and put them up for an open auction.
Quizzers Auction:
The registered quizzers will be put on AUCTION and owners will buy 5 quizzers each through an open bid. Only the chosen quizzers will have to pay their registration fee of Tk 300.
Note: We can't guarantee that every personnel who registers for the league will get a team.
Franchise / Ownership Chance:
Invited owners will get the chance to buy 5 quizzers from pool A, B & C, 2 quizzers from each pool. To be eligible to buy a team he/she has to pay 1000tk.
*Prize money, trophy and crests will be provided to the Champion and Runner Up teams along with their owners.
2. University Quiz
*There will be 2 rounds in this competition.
Round 1: Written Test
Round 2: Stage or Final Round (It will be a buzzer round. The specific instructions will be given on the stage by the Quizmaster)
*Rules and Regulations
* It will be a team-based quiz competition. Students will have to form teams consisting of 3 members. (or at least 2 members)
* Teams must consist of 3 members from the same university. There are no restrictions in batch or department variation. The team can consist of 3 members from 3 different batches of any department but all of them must be from the same university.
*All current University students are eligible for this competition.
* There are no number barriers for participation in the first round. Unlimited number of teams can participate in the first round.
* 6 Teams will qualify for the Final round based on the marks of the written test or Round 1.
* In case of unavoidable circumstances, QSBUP holds the authority to change any of the rules mentioned above.
* Quizmasters will have the liberty to set the question up to their own understandings alongside the authority to direct the buzzer-based quiz rounds at their own will and the Quizmasters judgment will be counted as the final decision of the competition.
* In case of a tie, the quizmasters will conduct a tie-breaker session as per necessary to decide on a conclusive result of the competition.
Individual Quiz:
3. Bangladesh & Liberation War Quiz: This will be a written quiz event for single participant. The main focus of the question making will be on the particular event of the Liberation War of 1971 and other historical events, incidents and information directly related to the history, geography, culture, politics, personality and other general knowledge about our beloved country Bangladesh, this event is for you!
4. FIFA World Cup Quiz: QSBUP is proud to announce that there will be a FIFA World Cup Quiz where students will have to compete individually. Questions of the FIFA World Cup Quiz will vary within the very aspects of FIFA World Cup 2022.
5. Pop Culture Quiz: If you love to read books, fond of paintings and culture then this quiz is for you. Trivia on books, writers, painting, paintings, festivals will be asked in this quiz.
6. International & History Quiz: Participants will get 20 minutes to answer questions on basic and intermediate Geography and History.
7. Harry Potter Quiz:
Potterheads, You have read all the books and watched all the movies but can't find a stage to prove? Take a sip of butterbeer, go to Platform Nine and Three-quarters and hop into Hogwarts express as QSBUP brings the Ultimate Harry Potter Quiz, The Potterhead Battle.
8. Literature Quiz:
Questions will be asked from world literature. Beside reading books, it will be also a test for literature enthusiast to check their overall competency on literature.
