3RD ANNUAL TEE IT HIGH & LET IT FLY GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Texas Playboys Inc. is proud to announce our 3rd Annual Tee It High & Let It Fly Golf Tournament on Monday, October 7, 2024. We are extremely excited to have the Golf Club of Texas host this amazing event which benefits our Texas Youth Agriculture & Agriculture Mechanics Education.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is “We are a charitable organization that is dedicated to Agriculture/AG Mechanics and Education to develop our youth in Texas.” Through scholarships, grants, endowments, junior livestock auctions and show premiums the Texas Playboys Inc. plan on impacting our youth in Texas in all our 254 counties.

The success of our golf tournament will be in part to companies & businesses that support us as sponsors and donors in addition to our field of teams. This is a fun opportunity to align your business with a group of supporters, volunteers and community leaders that participate in supporting our mission.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Monday, October 7th

6:30AM Registration / Check-in

8:00AM Shotgun Tournament Start

2:00PM Cash Bar & Awards

TEAM ENTRY FEE: $500

Includes: Four (4) Players - Greens Fees, Carts & Goody Bags per player

PRIZES : Top 3 Team Places

Longest Drive, Closest to Pin

FORMAT: Four Man Scramble

FORMAT AND RULES

1. AMATEUR PLAYERS ONLY: Please note that Professionals, Current or Former PGA Card Holders, PGA Tour Qualifiers or those attempting to qualify for PGA Amateur Card Holders, paid Golf Instructors are NOT ELIGIBLE for play. Teams violating this restriction will be disqualified.

2. AGE: All age players welcome.

3. FOUR-MAN SCRAMBLE: Each team will select the best shots to be played on each hole through the green and will be played throughout that hole.

4. TEAMS: Team sponsors may build their own four (4) man teams.

5. TEE LOCATIONS: Men will play from the Blue Tees and Ladies will play from the Red Tees.

6. MULLIGANS: Limit of TWO (2) mulligans per person. They may be used at any time on the course; however, they may not be used to win Long Drive or Closest to the Pin prizes.

7. SLOW PLAY PENALTY: In the event an entire hole opens in front of a team and after a warning from the scorekeeper or marshal to expedite play, the team may be penalized ONE (1) stroke for each offense.

8. TIES: In the event of a tie, a Western Breakdown will apply beginning with the 18th hole going backwards for the tie breaker.

9. SCORE LIMIT: No score over bogey will be entered on the score sheets.

10. ALL DECISIONS BY TOURNAMENT OFFICIALS WILL BE FINAL.
