3rd Annual Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Race

Our 3rd Annual Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Race @ Long Shots is BACK!!! 🏁🌭

The fastest (and cutest) race of the season is back- because nothing says Oktoberfest quite like cheering on a bunch of determined little weenies! Get your dachshund signed up or just come out to enjoy a Tito's Puptail!

The details:

🐶 Entry is $20 per dachshund (includes entry into the race + each participating dog will get a complimentary swag item).

🏆 Top 3 weenies will take home a prize

✨ Costume contest! Best dressed weenie will win an award!

🏁 5 heats → winners will advance to the championship round

🍹 Sip on a Tito's Puptail while you watch!

Check in will begin here at Long Shots at 3pm, with the race beginning at 3:30. Each pup will need 2 handlers, one to release & one to catch! (We recommend you bring toys to encourage your dog... NO WHISTLES.)

ALL race proceeds will go to Brave Breed Rescue- so every wagging tail makes a difference!

This is a well-behaved dog, family friendly event! We hope to see you & your weenie there. 🐾

*Please note: you only need to purchase ONE ticket per dog. If you are simply coming to watch, no ticket is needed!
