When and where is the 3rd Annual Alpha Classic?The event takes place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 11 AM – 8 PM on Governors Island, New York City.

What makes the Alpha Classic worth attending?It's your chance to enjoy delicious food, live entertainment, and a beautiful setting while connecting with the welcoming New York Alpha community.

What ticket options are available?You can choose between:

• General Admission: Includes a lunch box (fried chicken, steak and tostones, steamed shrimp, steamed salmon or fried eggplant) and open lawn seating.
• VIP: Includes premium table seating, a catered hot buffet, a bottle of sparkling wine, and an event memento.
• Cabana Package: Enjoy a furnished cabana with chairs, dedicated table service, food, and complimentary sangria for Cabana guests upon entry. Your cabana will be draped on three sides for a touch of luxury.

Can I upgrade my ticket?No, please purchase the correct ticket type initially.

What if I lose my ticket?Check your Eventbrite confirmation email or contact us for assistance.

Are tickets refundable?Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled.

What happens if the event is canceled?We'll communicate any rescheduling or refund information at that time.

What's the dress code?Embrace summer style at its best! Think sundresses, seersucker suits, hats, and sunglasses.

How do I get to Governors Island?Ferries depart from:

• Battery Maritime Building (Manhattan)
• Red Hook/Atlantic Basin (Brooklyn)
• Pier 6, Brooklyn Bridge Park (Brooklyn)

Is there a ferry fee?The ferry is free before noon on event day, $4 roundtrip fare afterward.

How do I get to the ferry locations?Public transportation is recommended. Limited parking is available near the ferry terminals.

When is the last ferry from the island?The last ferry departs at 8 PM.

Is food included in my ticket?Yes. Food will be served until 4pm.

What is on the menu?

Will there be cell service?Yes.

Are there restrooms?Yes, throughout the event space.

Are there shaded areas?Limited shaded areas are available. You may bring your own umbrellas.

Is seating provided?Open lawn seating for General Admission (bring blankets/chairs). VIP includes table seating. The cabana includes a small sofa.

What time should I arrive?Check-in starts at 11AM, but we recommend arriving early to secure your spot.

What if it rains?If the rain causes a cancellation, the event will be moved to Sunday, August 24th.
