We are collecting comfort and distraction items for sickle cell warriors and their families as they receive infusions and care.
About this Event

The Zeta Mu Chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. and The Sickle Cell Coalition of Maryland are once again coming together to serve with purpose, compassion, and intention for MLK Day.

Like prior years, we are hosting a Supply Drive to support sickle cell warriors and their families as they undergo infusion treatments at Children's Medical Center in Largo, MD and care packages for them and their caregivers Capital Region Medical Center Hospital in Largo, Maryland. Our focus is on providing comfort and distraction items—thoughtful supplies that help ease long treatment days and bring moments of relief, encouragement, and care to patients and their loved ones.

We have created an Amazon Wish List with carefully selected items that will be bagged together and donated directly to patients receiving treatment. The wish list will remain open until requested items are fulfilled or January 15, 2026 whichever comes first.
