🪕 Discover the Joy of Bluegrass: 3rd Annual Long Beach Bluegrass Festival 🪕There is a unique kind of magic in bluegrass. Experience the shared joy that brings people together the moment the first string is plucked. Whether you’ve never seen a banjo or mandolin in person or you’ve been a fan for years, you’ll feel right at home in our welcoming community.
Hosted by volunteer-based nonprofit Live at the Shell with support from the California Bluegrass Association, we're gathering under the trees and in front of the big Shell stage for a day of bright melodies with new and old friends.
Whether you're a seasoned picker or just looking for a day filled with good music and friendly faces, there's something for everyone.

10:00 AM | The Jamming Forest Opens: Grab your instrument and head to the trees for community picking. All levels welcome!
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM | Workshops: Sharpen your skills.
BANDS ON THE BIG STAGE
with Kenny Feinstein of Water Tower as Emcee
1:30 PM | Faultliner: Kicking off the main stage with high-energy bluegrass.
2:30 PM | Dennis Witcher and the Brew: Traditional sounds meet modern soul.
4:00 PM | Water Tower: Bringing their unique, hard-driving bluegrass style to the Shell.
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM | Square Dancing: Close out the night with the All-Star String Band and Square Dance Caller Jeremy Horton!

Location: 701-939 Federation Dr., Long Beach (The Shell)
Seating: 600+ bench seats and ample lawn seating
What to bring: Lawn chairs if you want them, blankets, sun hat, sunscreen, and your dancing shoes!
Instruments: If you plan on hitting the Jamming Forest at 10 AM or join the workshops at 12 PM, bring your gear.
