My former teammate Jacob Green passed away in an unexpected car accident in November of 2019. Jacob was a football enthusiast but above all else he was a community activist. His heart was bigger than any field most of us have played on. Because of his passion for enacting change in the community, I feel the need to carry on his legacy throughout my experiences in life. I am asking you to join that effort in keeping his legacy alive by showing up and showing out for some good ol’ fashioned football! ? ? When: Saturday - December 3, 2022 @ 9:00 AM
Where: Deer Valley Park on 19th ave & Union Hills
What to Bring: We are asking you to bring any extra clothes you may want to donate or a Christmas gift to give to a less fortunate child for Christmas (doesn’t have to be wrapped). Also bring as many friends/family/children you want as this is a family friendly event.
Rules/Expectations: The goal is to have 6 teams square off in a tournament style game play. Depending on numbers we may just pick teams day of. But considering there is no cash prize, friendly competition is encouraged.
