Join us for year three of an incredible time on the hard water with Michigan’s youth! Lake Effect is teaming up with Thunderhook Fly-ins to bring an absolutely unforgettable, FREE event to West Michigan. In 2026 we had over 400 people, and for 2027 we are anticipating up to 1000, so plan early, and share with your friends!
FREE FOOD, Over $8,000 in giveaways, Ice fishing, Sledding, Playground, Ice games, and so much more!!!
Hundreds of children will get the opportunity to learn how to ice fish, partnering with members from Team Lake Effect, TTT Outdoors, and many local volunteers to catch panfish, and pike!
Children will be provided with all necessary gear, including rods reels, and all of the baits and tackle necessary.
Team Lake Effect will be giving away over $5000 in fishing gear and tackle. And Thunderhook fly ins will be giving away a full week Fly-in for 2 to Smoothrock Lake in NW Ontario worth more than $3000!!!
