3rd Annual International Chamber Music Festival at Oxmoor Farm, June 6-9

Oxmoor Farm is proud to present the Third Annual International Chamber Music Festival. The Festival will be held June 6-9. Musicians from across the globe will gather at Oxmoor to perform works by familiar composers including Beethoven, Mozart, and Schubert, as well as music by more contemporary composers such as Libby Larson and Ralph Vaughn Williams in a series of four concerts over three days. The library at Oxmoor Farm is the type of intimate setting for which the repertoire was written, rather than a concert hall.

In addition to music, the festival will also feature pre-concert cocktail, bourbon & wine receptions, and a gala dinner in the library with the musicians prepared by award-winning chef Joshua Moore of Volare Italian Ristorante. We are thrilled Chef Moore is returning for a second year!

Musicians scheduled to perform are Steven Moeckel, Dr. Joanna Goldstein, Laura Krause, Chris Finet, Tom Landschoot, Viviana Cumplido Wilson, and Mark L. Tate (Sunday performance only). More information about the performers can be found on the Oxmoor Farm website at www.oxmoorfarm.org.

You can purchase tickets for each concert individually ($50 per ticket per concert) or you can purchase an All Festival ticket to the Oxmoor Farm International Chamber Music Festival for $140. The All Festival ticket will admit you to all 4 concerts over the weekend. You can add-on the gala dinner that will be held on Sunday, June 9, for $100.

The schedule of performances are as follows:

Thursday, June 6 - 7:30pm - Concert 1 will include a performance of Mozart's Quartet for Flute, Violin, Viola, and Cello; Libby Larson's 'Four on the Floor' for Violin, Cello, Bass and Piano; Martinu's Trio for Flute, Cello and Piano; and Hummel's Quintet in Eb minor. Come early and enjoy a pre-concert reception of Bourbon, Bubbles, and Nibbles. Gates open at 6:45pm and pre-concert reception will begin at 7:00pm. Stay after the concert for two optional events - a bourbon/chocolate pairing or a bourbon/cigar pairing. You can add on this after-concert event for $25.

Saturday, June 8 - 11:00am - FAMILY CONCERT - FREE - Bring the whole family to enjoy an hour of music that will delight music fans of all ages. *Please note - adults must be accompanied by a child or student under the age of 21.

Saturday, June 8 - 7:30pm - Concert 2 will include Hoffmeister's Duo Concertante in G major; Williams' Quintet in C Minor, Jennifer Higdon's 'String Poetic' for violin and piano; and Hayden's Trio in G major. Come early and enjoy a pre-concert reception of Bourbon, Bubbles, and Nibbles. Gates open at 6:45pm and pre-concert reception will begin at 7:00pm.

Sunday, June 9 - 4:00pm - Concert 3 will close out our festival with a performance that will include Beethoven's Sernade in D major Op. 25; Claude Bolling's Suite for flute and jazz piano trio; Schubert's Quintet in A major "The Trout." Come early and enjoy a pre-concert reception of Bourbon, Bubbles, and Nibbles. Gates open at 3:15pm and pre-concert reception will begin at 3:30pm.

There is a special Thursday evening post concert event! Stay after the performance for a bourbon/chocolate pairing or bourbon/cigar pairing. This post-concert event is $25. This optional ticket can be purchased as an add-on to the Thursday evening concert and will take place at the conclusion of the performance.

A gala dinner will follow the conclusion of Concert 3. This will be a special dinner prepared by award winning Chef Joshua Moore of Volare Italian Ristorante. Chef Moore won Food Network's Chopped in 2019. Chef Moore is known for his farm to table cooking and this dinner will be no different. All the performing musicians will be seated with the guests and guests will be able to interact with the musicians. Tickets to the gala dinner are $100 per ticket.
