Our annual Hey You Hoe Down is our primary fundraiser for the Carrie Fischer Siegmund Grant for Classroom Innovation, established in 2021 by Carrie's loving family, friends, and colleagues after losing Carrie, a gifted educator and innovator to brain cancer. The fund was created to continue Carrie's passion and work toward innovative public school classroom experiences that inspire through innovative, interdisciplinary, and meaningful learning that results in a long-lasting impact on students.
