We invite you to demonstrate your support of RRUFF Healing Heroes by donating to our silent auction, becoming a sponsor, or attending the event. Your generosity will help us achieve our fundraising goals. The RRUFF Healing Heroes Program provides funding for service dog training for veterans and first responders with PTSD and other invisible disabilities in the Greater Sacramento/Placer County area. This program is made possible by the generous support of our RRUFF members, local businesses, and individual donations.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is a serious problem for veterans. Each day, 22 American Veterans die by suicide. We exist for the sole purpose of being a catalyst for hope and change. We do this one veteran & one dog at a time by funding the cost of service dog training, dog acquisition, spaying and neutering, puppy wellness packages, vaccinations, and other veterinary services as needed during training. The average cost is $3,500 for each dog/veteran team. Your support of our fundraising events directly helps to cover these costs.
