The 3rd annual Community Cup is slated for Saturday, Sept. 30 at Chesterfield’s River City Sportsplex at 13030 Genito Road in Midlothian. Gates open at 9 a.m. and the event begins at 10 a.m. ⚽The Community Cup actively engages public safety agencies and multicultural communities across the region in positive community building with law enforcement and firefighters. It is a partnership between Chesterfield and Henrico counties, the City of Richmond, and the Virginia State Police. In addition to the soccer tournament, activities included food trucks, multicultural market, entertainment, kid’s zone, first responders’ vehicle viewings and informational booths.
