Friday, September 25, 2026- 6pm-9pm
Saturday, September 26, 2026- 12pm-4pm
This annual fundraiser brings our community together through one simple idea: a 6x6 canvas can hold a powerful story.
UrbanArt Commission distributes free 6x6" canvases to anyone who wants one. Artists, children, seniors, community groups, individuals with disabilities, seasoned professionals, and people who have never painted before are all invited to create something meaningful.
Those canvases come together in a vibrant group exhibition where every piece is displayed and every voice is represented. The result is a celebration of creativity that reflects the full spirit of our community.
Every canvas helps support UrbanArt Commission programs that keep Memphis artists connected to opportunity. Proceeds help fund free artist workshops, provide exhibition space with no commission, support paid internships, and expand programs that connect artists and neighborhoods through public art.
Whether you create a canvas, attend the exhibition, or support the fundraiser, there’s a place for everyone to be part of this experience.
