Important: This is not a beginner stained glass class. Participants must already have a basic understanding of the copper foil and solder method, such as having completed one of Area 59’s introductory stained glass classes.
Take your stained glass skills into the third dimension! In this intermediate workshop, Lori Bruce will guide you through creating a festive 3D stained glass Christmas tree using the copper foil and solder method. You’ll assemble the dimensional form, solder the pieces together, and add decorative details to make your tree ready for the holidays.
You’ll leave class with a completed, decorated stained glass tree and the skills and construction techniques needed to return to Area 59 and create a larger version of your own.
All materials are included.
